With the trolley not available, "Howard the Bus"
substituted for the club's Summer Solstice event!
Kudos to Greg & E.T. for bringing Howard out to play
and for all that joined in with the run from Lion's pool to the river
& Greenway Path at Selah Gap and
to those that went up and down 'Polio Hill'. (as Pat says, "it looks
flat on the map!" Actually, it is 500+ feet of elevation gain in
.75 of a mile.)
After the run, the celebration continued at the Yakima Valley Museum
Soda Fountain with root beer floats and other recovery forms of ice cream
and sodas.
