The Yakima Hard Core Runners Club sponsored a Kiddin’ Around Fun Run/Walk at Sarg Hubbard Park on May 20th. About 100 kids and parents turned out for the 1 mile run. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time, including Fun Run directors Sarah and Barry James.
Kiddin’ Around is a summer-long program to keep kids active. Participants can earn points for prizes by joining in group events or on their own by biking, running, walking, bird watching, taking photos or golfing. The more points earned, the more prizes! There are events almost every weekend all summer long.
