Ridge To River Questionaire????????

The Ridge to River will be Saturday April 8th this year not on Sunday. They want your opinion on the run. Go to www.r2r.org and vote.

The Race Committee is constantly working to improve Alcoa's Ridge To River Relay. For 2006, we are considering moving the run leg from Mission Ridge Road down to the Apple Capital Loop Trail. This would eliminate the downhill run and move it to a flat, paved trail at the end of the race.

The relay would most likely then be run as a stage race, with alpine skiers finishing at Mission Ridge Lodge, as they always have, enjoying a time delay in the race, and continuing on with the bike leg leaving from Squilchuck State Park.

The run (8-10K) would then take place after the paddle leg at the end of the race.

Would you prefer this new course to the traditional course?
