"….masters national track and field 10,000 meter race that took place today (Saturday, August 9th) in Spokane.
It went well.

I won with a time of 34:22.94. Second place was Emil Magallanes from Boise Idaho with a time of 36:30:43. Third was Robert Garcia from LaVista, NE in 36:53.96.

All of the 50-59 age runners ran together. I ended up lapping the entire field.

All of my mile splits were with four seconds of each other.

It was a warm day and most people slowed down over the 2nd half of the race, but I guess living in Eastern Washington gave me an advantage.

From all division 40 and up I had the 2nd best time over all."
