St. Patrick’s Day Foot Race and Leprechaun Dash |
James-Clan “Lame-ricks”

Hard Core Runners’ Club members had some
noteworthy performances, particularly from “Wild Bill” Leahy. The 65 year-old Leahy torched the 5k course

HCR’s Jill Banister from Pendleton was
2nd overall in the woman’s 10K.
In the men’s 10K, Crisprin Garza, Rob Bartol , and Cliff Banister
finished in 39:25, 39:59 and 40:39 respectively.
In the woman’s 5K, Sarah James
finished fourth in the 40-49, and Barry James finished second overall in a time

Venturing to the Tri-Cities to
touch-bases with old friends and former competitors was well worth the hour and
a half trip. Already, I am looking
