Hardcore Runners Club
YAKIMA, Washington
About Us

Serious (hard core) runners, hikers, and coaches can build weekly structures around the valley's terrain. Hardcore here means showing up with a good attitude, respecting the course, and helping others get through rough patches. The club began as a small crew linking canal paths and canyon roads and grew into a calendar that highlights every season.

Social Fun Runs can be a great way to meet new people. Runners can rotate between tempo loops near the Greenway and hill repeats on the hospital climb. Mornings are super healthy and can change by season: river flats in winter, canyon rollers in spring, ridge trails in summer. Paces and distances can vary; no need to run alone!

The format can be simple for a typical race: three weeks, three distances, points for placement and attendance. The park's paths give soft turns, short shade breaks, and clear views for cheering. Families can bring chairs and coolers. The last night of the summer can end with a time trial under the long dusk.
